Food safety
Draft — for legal review before public launch
Kelozo lists surplus food from independent bakeries, cafés and restaurants — each business remains responsible for the safety and quality of the food it prepares and lists, same as any food it sells directly.
What we expect from partners
- Only listing food that is safe and fit for same-day consumption
- Accurate pickup windows so food isn't held longer than safe
- Basic hygiene standards consistent with normal food-service operation
What customers should know
Surplus items are sold close to end-of-day and should generally be eaten the same day they're collected, unless the listing says otherwise. If something seems off, don't eat it — contact us via Contact & Support.
This page is placeholder guidance for a pre-launch pilot and will be replaced with a formal food-safety policy before public launch.
